Mobile apps are simple compared to aircraft or cars, but the same rule applies: no single testing method is enough — only a full stack works. As the product grows, so does the need for dedicated QA. A startup’s testing discipline usually mirrors the lead developer’s experience; when the lead is inexperienced, the process matures slowly. Bring in an experienced lead, and all these testing methods can be in place from day one — if the business agrees to invest in quality. And yes, add dead-code tools like peripheryapp/periphery and mutation testing with muter-mutation-testing/muter to the QA toolbox.
